My journey to web development

Discovering Programming

I enrolled in a university in Poland for a major in "Management," but I realized in the first year that it wasn't for me. I knew I didn't want to pursue this path.

Then, one ordinary day while watching videos on YouTube, I stumbled upon an hour-long course for programming beginners in my recommendations. I decided to give it a try. And I really liked it!

Learning & Adapting

The world changed with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Everything around me closed down, and the opportunity to change my educational direction disappeared.

I decided not to give up. To not lose the year that I had almost spent studying management, I decided to complete the course.

But my future plans were in a different direction: I was planning to enroll in programming. While studying management, I also learned programming on the side, feeling that this was my path.

Internship & Opportunities

This year brought me happiness and new opportunities. I was lucky to get a free internship with Dmytro Khimich.

At first, I performed simple tasks, and every time I was told that I did a great job, it was a very pleasant feeling that filled each of my days with joy.

Later, I started receiving more complex tasks, but I knew I could handle them because I enjoyed it so much. Then I was offered a paid internship, and I was overjoyed that I could earn money doing what I loved.

That same year, I enrolled in computer science. I immediately showed my classmates that I knew what I was doing. I was even exempted from some classes and focused on what I didn't know yet. It was a year of personal growth and professional development.

Freedom and Responsibility

Life as a freelancer is something special. I work on small and large websites, and each new project is a new challenge.

I love what I do, and that's the most important thing. Clients trust me with their projects, and I feel the responsibility to perform them at the highest level. I create websites that help brands attract an audience and tell their story.

It's not just code and design; it's communication, it's connection. My work as a freelancer allows me to do what I love, have a flexible schedule, and work with interesting people. This is my path, and I am satisfied with where it has led me.

In addition to practical experience, I have also invested time in my education in the field of web design. I have completed the certification from Google called "Google UX Design Professional Certificate" and finished the course "Programming with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript" These skills help me work more efficiently and implement more complex projects.
